Record a 30-60 second video telling us why you love your favorite store and why they should be on Mercato.

2. Share

Fill out the form on this page with the store’s information and upload your video as a .mp4 file.

3. Connect

We’ll reach out to your referred store and tell them the benefits of being listed on Mercato.

4. Get Paid

Once the store signs up, 
you’ll be given a $200 credit that you can use to order groceries on Mercato.

Why should I refer a store?
Mercato helps local businesses compete with the large chain grocers by making it easy for them to support online ordering and delivery. Not only are you helping them stay in business, but referring them to Mercato would mean that you could get their groceries delivered right to your door! Stores who are referred will have the setup fees waived (valued at $3,500), and you’ll get a $200 credit to spend on Mercato once they sign up.

What qualifies as a “store”?
Mercato works with: local neighborhood markets, regional grocery chains, butcher shops, specialty international grocers, produce markets, and cheese shops. 

What happens after I submit the form?
Once you submit the form, we’ll reach out to the business letting them know they were referred and will share the video you created with them. If they sign up to be a merchant on Mercato, you’ll receive your reward credit. We’ll send you an email letting you know that they signed up and your credit is ready for you to use.

What are the referral conditions?

  1. All of the information provided in the form fields must be accurate.
  2. $200 will be credited to your Mercato account after your store partners with Mercato.
  3. The $200 referral credit may be used on any future Mercato order(s).
  4. The $200 referral credit can’t be exchanged for cash or can’t be transferred to another consumer account. This credit is non-negotiable. 
  5. If multiple customers refer the same store, the person who submitted first will get credit for it. 
  6. To be eligible for the $200 referral credit, the store must have heard about Mercato through you.
  7. The last day to refer a store is Friday, June 19th.
  8. Your referral credit will expire on December 31, 2020.
